i think anthony is right—the soles on those boots give them away as the nansen from polo (the brownish/gray tweed version). i think this dude pulls off the look. the pants are crazy, but he wears a relatively subdued tie and oxford to balance it out. the belt throws in a nice splash of color, adding just the right amount of interest.

I think those are actually the new version of the bean boot that was released this year. I like all these things separately, but no one (even this model) could pull this off…

those aren’t bean boots. i think they’re actually one of the versions of the RL nansen boot. i think he pulls everything together nicely, but i’d either tuck the chinos in to the boots, or roll them up a bit to show the flannel lining.

Very awesome, nice bean boots. I would have chosen a more colorful tie, but that’s me. I like the knit tie I must say.
